Drive Carefully
You know those cameras that they warn you about at intersections?

Well, it turns out that they're serious about that sort of thing:

I can't plausibly argue the "but the light was yellow!" excuse when the picture, right there shows that it wasn't.

Department of Bad Tattoos
Oh, man, this is one of the most embarrassing things I've seen in a long while:

Yes, she tattooed "faith" on her neck using a Greek-letter font. Not only does it not say "faith" in Greek (that would be "πίστη"), but it doesn't even use letters that would spell out the sound "faith" (that would be "φεϊθ"). She spelled out something that sounds like "feh-tee."
Even worse, the caption see submitted this with was "Faith / Its[sic] greek, like me." I wish tattoo artists would intervene in these cases.
Reminiscent of nonsensical Asian tattoos that caucasians frequently fall victim to and the weblog that chronicles this silliness.

Tipping Guidelines
Recalling my post two years ago referring to an international tipping guide, I now present you with a list of American tipping guidelines. Highlights:
Profession How Much When
Bartender 15%. Consider more if service is exceptional. At each service. Economist 0 Never tip an economist. It only invites a lecture on the economic theories of tipping and nobody has that kind of time.
