Idiots!

Sunday morning, I came to my car and saw this:





What happened here is that a roving criminal or criminals trolled around the garage in my apartment complex looking to steal some GPS navigators. Seeing the bracket suction-cupped to my windshield, one of these idiots shattered my driver's-side window and reached in for the bracket to take my GPS. My GPS, however, was not there, and the malefactor(s) moved on to shatter some other guy's car window.


Seriously, I do not need this crap.


The glass repair guys show up on Thursday morning to take care of this.

Greek Pizza Restaurant Owner Thwarts Robber

Sakalerios Vallas does not take any crap from people trying to take his hard earned money:

It's something in the Greek genes: a mugger attempted to rob my grandmother as she was heading to the bank with the week's receipts from her flower shop, and she pulled out a knife and chased him away.

Tribute to West Orange, NJ

Following up from my previously featured tribute to New Jersey, I have found a video of this song called Orange Water by the band GDP, all about West Orange, NJ, the town next to where I grew up. At 0:15, you can see Rt. 280 Exit #5 for Laurel Avenue, which is where you'd get off for my old house when traveling westbound.
